BERE Regis captain Rich Cole has “revenge” on his mind when his side travels to relegation-threatened Swanage in the Dorset Funeral Plan Premier League tomorrow (1pm).
Swanage must win and hope Sherborne drop at least one point to keep their hopes of survival alive until the final weekend of the season.
For Bere, who are old adversaries with the Swans, the fixture represents a chance for payback.
Cole told Echosport: “They prevented us from coming up a few seasons ago so it would be nice to get a bit of revenge.
“We respect that Swanage have got a very good team and we never take any game for granted. They’ve got home advantage and they may have brought some players back in.
“We’ll treat it like we do any other game, stay patient and focused. A few points here or there can make the difference between fourth and seventh and we want to finish as high as we can in our first season.
“By winning it we’ll have a 50/50 ratio of wins to losses.”
Bere are set to welcome back Dean Rogerson and Elliot Woodhouse for Crispin Brown and Sean Walbridge.
Bere: M King, Payne, Murphy, Rich Cole, G King, Keegan, Rob Cole, Goodhew, Griffiths, Rogerson, Woodhouse
