FIDDLEFORD’s Ryan Faber, 9, has had a sensational summer on the British Ski Racing Circuit to become overall under-10 GBR Champion 2018.

He competing throughout the United Kingdom on artificial slopes in a series of 10 races, five outdoor and five indoor but took part in only seven of the 10 races and accumulated the most points to take the total series win.

Faber also won the British Indoor Championships, Anglo-Welsh Indoor Championships and the National Schools Snowsports Championships alongside several other indoor and outdoor club nationals this summer.

Faber trains in the UK with Ski Milton Keynes Race Team and is coached on the dry slope by Precise Racing’s Head Coach, Emily Evans.

Faber is also privileged to be part of the Ambition Racing Team 2018/19, he will spend much of this coming winter training with them at their base in Leogang, Austria and racing across Europe, hoping to build on last winter’s results where he finished in the top three of his year of birth at every race.

Faber was delighted to be chosen as a young ambassador this year by the UK’s leading ski race supply shop, Ski Bartlett based in Uxbridge, London and also as a brand ambassador by Ed Place the educational site Ryan uses to complete his education while he is in Austria and has recently completed filming for their new promotional advert.
