SUMMER is not over for Weymouth and Portland Cruising Association members who have been taking full advantage of the fine days with short sails in Weymouth Bay.
Going further afield Chris and Tess Reid in their Hallberg Rassy, Monterey, will be leading the final cruise of the season with a trip to the Solent next week, visiting Poole, Yarmouth, Newton Creek, Cowes or Beaulieu and finally Lymington.
Meanwhile, Paul and Margaret Roberts in Stella have returned from a short trip to Poole Harbour.
Back in Weymouth the winter talks start on Tuesday, October 2 with a visit from Peter Allam, the CEO of WPNSA.
His talk will be discussing the scope of work, activities and leadership on the domestic and international sailing scene.
All local sailors are welcome to attend the talk at Castle Cove Sailing Club starting at 8.00pm with the bar opening at 7.15pm.
