KINGSTON Maurward College football team claimed a 2-0 victory as they took to Dorchester Town's 3G pitch for the first time this season.
Bridgwater College travelled to the Clayson Stadium and were downed by Joel Hewitt and Ollie Thraves strikes for the Dorset school side, who in May announced a link-up with the Magpies.
Maurward were managed on the day by current Dorchester Town winger Tom Blair.
Students now have the facilities to train and play matches on the 3G, which hosts the football strand of the KMC Sport and Fitness BTEC courses.
