PAT Hart put in a great performance to take Bridport & West Dorset Golf Club’s men’s October Medal with a nett 70.

Hart edged out John White in Division One after countback.

There were some good scores across all three divisions and Saturday’s rain no doubt helped by making the greens more receptive.

The lowest nett score of the day was achieved by Nathan Dunford in Division Two and his 66 was well clear of the rest.

Division Two runner-up Terry Cleal hit 69, and this was also the deciding score in Division Three with both Spike Spiller and Andy Smith notching 69, with the former winning after countback.

RESULTS:

Division One: (acb) Pat Hart 79-9=70, John White 78-8=70, (acb) Grant Gerrard 83-12=71.
