DORCHESTER travel to Corsham still looking for their first win on the road in the Wadworth 6X Southern Counties South.

Dorchester are currently eighth in the table, with two wins and two losses so far this season, but Corsham sit one place above Dorchester with a slightly superior points difference.

Last time out they beat Bradford-on-Avon 45-24 but their problem has been on the road, with two losses so far against Walcot and Swindon College Old Boys.

Dorchester travel with some new faces in the squad, but also with a wealth of experience.

Tom Gower takes to the field on the wing for his 100th first team appearance, whilst Louis Verkaik makes his first team debut on the opposite wing.

Adam Makepeace comes back into the starting line-up following injury, as does Liam Kershaw.

George Foot remains at fly-half with Alex Peel still injured and Liam Moss reverts to full-back.

In what is sure to be a tight game with both sides wanting the win, the county town’s

coaching team are asking the team for a big performance and for the senior players to lead from the front.

Dorchester’s unbeaten A XV, led by Rob Parker, will look to claim a bonus point win at Coburg Road and try to take the top-of-the-table spot from Wheatsheaf Cabin Boys, who entertain Swanage & Wareham.

Parker’s side also has a great deal of experience in it and will look to lead from the front.

Leo Ansell will look to run the ball to the opposition from the base of the scrum and the speedy duo of Julian Dale and Dom Smith will be keen to have the ball spun out wide to them to attack the opposition defence.

Tony O’Connell takes Dorchester’s third team Gladiators on the road again, this time to rivals Lytchett Minster, also looking for a bonus point win.

Former Lytchett youth player Rhys Williams makes his Dorchester debut with Steve Tucker hoping to begin his comeback from injury in the backs and Nick Lorimer ready to make some trademark runs through the opposition defence.

Sunday will again have the successful youth section taking over at Coburg Road.

This will see the under-14s locking horns with East Dorset while the under-nines head to Salisbury. All other age groups will be training.

Looking to pick up another win off the back of last weekend’s victory against Swanage, Dorchester Weymouth and Portland Ladies team are full of confidence ready to take on Oakmeadians at Monmouth Avenue.
