WEYMOUTH'S Motley Crew and The Pinups are competing to be crowned the best in Britain at the Blackthorn Championships today in Weston-super-Mare.
Both sides will be dreaming of winning the trophy and the £1,000 prize money that goes with it.
The Crew have two teams in the finals, one in the men's draw and the other in the mixed contest.
From the 88 men's teams who entered, Motley Crew and The Pinups are two of the victorious 16 teams to have qualified for the seaside showdown.
The Chapelhay Tavern outfit, skippered by Andie Rosewell, are newcomers to the competition and made their way to Weston having qualified through the group stage before succeeding in the two knockout rounds that followed.
Battle commences at 10am today on the 10 alleys and continues in a straight knock out format to the final at 8pm.
