YEOVIL Town Ladies’ goalkeeper Megan Walsh has been voted the November Women’s PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans’ Player of the Month by fans across the country.

In a competitive vote, run by fan engagement experts Snack Media, Walsh received 33 per cent of the votes.

Arsenal Women’s Dutch midfielder, Danielle van de Donk, took second place with 21 per cent.

In the final of five divisional votes carried out over 11 days, it was clear that Walsh’s strong performances caught the eye of football fans.

Most notably, when she kept a clean sheet against Everton, despite 28 shots on her goal, to help the club achieve their first win in 41 matches.

Walsh said: “I want to thank everyone who voted for me and I am proud to have won considering the quality of the other nominees.

“It was a vital win against Everton but it was thanks to the effort put in by everyone at YTLFC both on and off the pitch.”
