BALTI Sports’ boss Marco Nott refused to take lowly Wareham Rangers for granted ahead of their Dorset Premier League meeting tomorrow (2pm).

In October, Nott’s men beat Rangers 3-1 and 4-1 in league and Dorset Senior Trophy trim and the Purbeck side currently lie in 15th after a good run of results stemming from successive wins over Corfe Castle and Portland United Reserves.

Speaking to Echosport, Nott noted Rangers’ upturn in form but pointed out Balti’s own sequence of back-to-back wins.

He said: “It’s a tough place to go down there, the pitch isn’t normally in the best state. It’s just a case of trying to get three points.

“We do seem to do alright against Wareham, we’ve picked up a few wins.

“They’ve got some good results so it’ll certainly be a tough game, it always is.”

He added: “We’re in good form at the moment but we still can’t take anyone for granted. It’s a game that we’ve got to win.

“Going off last week’s it is an improvement from the week before, so hopefully we’ll just continue now and get into a flow.”

Danny Andrews is expected to be suspended after his red card in the 4-1 win over Sherborne Town Reserves, while Ash Smith and Ryan Dovell are injured.

Scott Walker (arm) is doubtful but Oscar Preece returns.
