PORTLAND Red Triangle held its annual presentation night at the Blues Club on Portland.

More than 100 players and supporters attended the event where The Ritchie Samuals Experience provided the music.

Club president Brian Riley opened the evening before chairman Glyn Bartholomew made a brief speech outlining the club's achievements over the year, despite the first team's relegation from Dorset League Division Two, including the improvements made to the ground and in particular the new boundary fence and net area.

Secretary Grant Neven was thanked for all his efforts along with Andy Fran and Gary Randell for their outstanding work with the club's youth section. The tea ladies were also praised.

Among the award winners on the night was Aaron Riley who received the Philip Adams Memorial Cup for Young Clubman of the Year - a trophy donated by Heather Adams in memory of her late husband Philip who was a loyal and much missed member of the club.

Samitha Rathnayake also picked up two awards in his first year at the club while Oliver Whisker snared the Young Player of the Year award.
