BEAMINSTER School’s equestrian team have posted some superb results, with Mollie Diment topping two tables, while as a team they have qualified for two events.

Diment sits top of the 80cm and 90cm leagues, which as an overall team Beaminster currently top.

Poppy McIntyre sits sixth in the 80cm table, while Nicky Lock in fourth, McIntyre in eighth, and Izzy Hallett in ninth, follow up Diment in the 90cm league.

Milly McIntyre currently sits third in the 70cm league while Hallett sits eighth in the one-metre table.

January saw the team qualify for the NSEA Summers Eventers’ Challenge Finals at Hickstead.

They qualified at King Sedgemoor Equestrian, while there were lots of entries for this competition.

This meant their times for this class were from late on and thus they were jumping under floodlights on a very cold evening with only three team members.

The team also saw success at the NSEA County Show Jumping Championships, where their 80cm quartet went to Moreton Equestrian and qualified for the championships as the top Dorset team.

The team consisted of Diment, Robert Paget, Milly McIntyre and Lock.

Diment also qualified individually by winning the class out of 75 riders.

Meanwhile, Hallett finished individual fifth in the one metre and sixth in the 1.10 metre.
