BALTI Sports’ boss Marco Nott fears retaliation from leaders Hamworthy Recreation ahead of their Dorset Premier League tussle tomorrow (2pm).

Nott, who oversaw a 2-1 victory over the reigning champions two weeks ago, feels Rec will be out for revenge as they continue their bid for a second straight title.

But Balti come into the clash on a run of seven matches without defeat and are unbeaten in the calendar year.

Balti manager Nott, who will be absent for the game, told Echosport: “We played very well, we were right on our A-game – you have to be to beat Ham Rec.

“I think they’re going to be better this week. They’re going to be right up for revenge and we’ve got to make sure we’re bang on it.

“In my opinion, we’ve got to be better than when we beat them last time because they’re going to be gunning for us.

“We’re quite dangerous on the counter attack. We’ll sit in tight and we’ve got a good defensive record at the moment. Hopefully we can pounce on the counter and cause them problems.”

Balti’s Chris Hicks will take charge of Sports and faces a challenging mission against a side Nott believes to be the best in the league.

He said: “We’re unbeaten in the calendar year and we’re playing some good stuff, so we’re definitely going in confidence. “They are still, in my opinion, the best team in the league without a doubt. The football they play is brilliant. I’m sure they’re going to be right at it.”

Ricky Lane, Charlie Kenderdine, Phil Anderson and Simon Proffitt could return, while reserves Darren Harding and Liam O’Shaughnessy will travel.

Ethan Devaney and Ryan Dovell (work commitments) are doubts. Ash Smith (knee) remains out.
