CASTLE Cove Sailing Club was bursting at the seams for the Weymouth and Portland Cruisers Association Annual Boat Jumble, so much so that some people had to set up tables in the car park to sell their wares.

The Boat Jumble, organised by Michael Gregory, is held annually to support the RNLI who also have a stand and this year they took just over £225 from sales and their collecting bucket.

The WPCA table was also hugely successful making a profit of £468 for the club.

With summer just round the corner the club’s winter talks programme is coming to an end and next Tuesday, April 2, the final speaker will be Gerald Mabb who will be giving a brief talk on the history of Weymouth Harbour.

Starting at 8pm all local sailors are welcome to attend.
