JURASSIC Coast Raptors have announced a sponsorship agreement to supply game jerseys for the 2019 season.

Chambers Property Care specialises in property care and facilities maintenance serving the UK and Wales since 1987 and have agreed to supply up to 35 brand new jerseys for the Raptors’ players for the 2019 season.

Directors Kate and Neville Chambers encountered the Raptors through a player contact and decided to offer to help the club financially.

Their actions are helping benefit a community club bringing fitness, teamwork and dedication to anyone who would like to play this fast-growing sport.

Head coach Bill Heinrich said: “Kate and Neville’s support is amazing and all of us at the team are very grateful. The players are especially excited.

“With our first game of the season only a few days away on the 14th of April at Bournemouth it’s not long until they get to wear them.

“It’s incredible that members of the community are helping out our local club in such a way. We’re ever thankful.”

The jerseys are a brand-new design for the Raptors, a lighter green than the previous jersey, white numbers, and a fantastic lizard-skin type print on the shoulders.

The jersey supplier, NuOla, will be able to also supply replica jerseys for fans to be able to show their support.

For more information, or to join the club, visit the Raptors’ Twitter and Facebook feeds.

The Raptors are also seeking game-day volunteers to be on the chain-crew. If you want to be involved, but do not want to play then please get in touch for details, you will be closer to the game than anyone but the players on the pitch.

The Raptors are also looking for donations for a new set of goal posts. Due to the wonderful new venue, permanent posts cannot be erected. The Raptors are therefore having to find and purchase a new set of posts that don’t damage the lovely new playing surface at the Clayson Stadium. As you may imagine, they are not commonly available, however there is one company in the UK that do supply them. Unfortunately, the cost is £1,500.

The Raptors have set up a crowd funding page to try to get the cost of the posts covered. If you can donate any money to help the club purchase the posts, please go to: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/jcrgoalposts
