DORCHESTER’S teenage hurdling sensation Molly White romped home to regain her crown as the South West’s best in the opening round of the Wessex League in Poole.
White stormed to victory at the Magna Arena in the under-15 category, claiming a personal best of 12.23 seconds as she left her rivals trailing.
White’s performance backed up a strong showing at Sheffield in her final indoor meeting of the winter.
Competing in the 60m hurdles in the National Athletics meet, White reached the semi-finals, securing a personal best en-route.
On the track and in the field Dorchester’s new athletes set personal bests while their existing athletes hunted down their best times to be consistently placed in the top-three in their events.
Dorchester are proud of all their athletes and especially those who are entering their first year of competition with such courageous determination.
