WEYMOUTH manager Jason Tindall is pleased after drawing Hitchin Town at home in the Fourth Qualifying Round of the FA Cup.

The Terras welcome the British Gas Business Southern Premier side to the Wessex Stadium on Saturday, October 27, for a place in the first round proper.

Tindall said: "You are always hoping for a home draw and we have got that so we are pleased with it. But it's the same old scenario with the FA Cup, there are always upsets and we need to make sure we are not one of them.

"I'll be confident when the game arrives because we have a great squad who are more than capable of winning, we're looking forward to the game and hope to progress.

"The cup has a great history behind it and it's a competition that can be very beneficial to the club and the fans. We just have to take each game as it comes and if you do go through, hope for a good draw."

The Terras are back in training this week following Friday night's 2-1 defeat at home to Crawley, and another name has been crossed off Weymouth's injury list.

Tindall added: "Marcus Browning has returned to training following his groin problem. There are still a few players who need to get their fitness levels up and hopefully we can arrange some more friendlies, like the one against Portland United last week, to help them with their rehabilitation.

"Trevor Challis benefited from the Portland game and he is on his way back. We must be sensible and not rush him back, but hopefully with more training and another practice game he will be back soon enough."
