WEYMOUTH-based Charlotte Dobson and racing partner Saskia Tidey hold second place in the 49erFX class after day three of competition at the European Championships in Weymouth & Portland.
Dobson and Tidey trail Brazilian pairing Martine Grael and Kahena Kunze by four points but are placed just one point above Dutch duo Annemiek Bekkering and Annette Duetz.
The 49erFX competitors have three days of fleet racing left before Sunday's 10-boat medal races.
Elsewhere, Portland-based Stuart Bithell and teammate Dylan Fletcher remain sixth after the third day of racing in the 49er class.
The double act secured their second victory in 10 races to consolidate their standing in the top-10 where they lie just five points off a bronze medal.
British colleagues James Peters and Fynn Sterritt were the significant movers of the day, taking a first, second and third to leap into seventh.
