TWICKENHAM beckons for Dorset & Wilts today, where they will meet Cumbria in the final of the Bill Beaumont Senior Men’s County Championship (11am).
Current shield holders the Twin Counties were denied a run out at the rugby headquarters last year, when they beat Essex at Richmond to tally up their third title.
The team will be looking to make it a fourth success today against Cumbria.
Dorset & Wilts reached the final with a 100 per cent winning record beating Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Middlesex in their pool games.
Cumbria are also unbeaten in the championship this season so it all points towards an exciting contest.
The road to Twickenham was not straight forward however.
Dorset & Wilts edged Middlesex 20-18, with Sam Baker landing a penalty at the death which proved the difference between the two sides.
There was also a well-fought 57-45 victory at home to Berkshire and a one-sided 68-0 victory over Buckinghamshire as Dorset & Wilts progressed to the final.
You will be able to watch the RFU County Championship Final today, live on the England Rugby website.
