ALL Sorts took the Ladies’ Division trophy home with them after the Weymouth and Portland Skittle League end-of-season presentation night took place at the Weymouth Pavilion.

Ian Ferguson of the main sponsor, Weyline Taxis, presented the trophies while presentations were followed by dancing to Steve Williams Roadshow.

All Sorts won the Ladies’ Division with Wyke Social Yo-Yo’s four points behind them, but in consolation the Yo-Yo’s took the Ladies’ Knockout Cup, leaving Balti Red Cats the runners-up again.

Pinups, back on form, won the Division Ome Rosebowl beating last year’s winners and alley mates Mo Army by just eight pins in a tense play-off at Wellworthy Club.

The Knockout Cup was won by Hardys Admirals who had a convincing 20-pin victory over Park Stars at Wyke Social Club while All Sorts also retained the Treasurer’s Cup with a massive 58-pin success over Clubettes.

In the men’s equivalent, the Secretary’s Cup, the final was won by Barmy Army, who played Crusaders at Wyke Smugglers and beat them by 27 pins.

Ladies’ Pairs victory went to Wyke Social Yo-Yo’s duo Sian Vaughan and Colleen Clarke, beating Kirsty Dowe of All Sorts partnered by Julie Walker of Conbows.

In the Men’s Pairs competition, Micky Moore and Steve Heslop of PBLC’C’ triumphed over Pete Hoare and Adam Jolliffe of Hardys Admirals. In the Mixed Pairs, the partnership of Becky Dean of Pinups and Rob Sibley of Barmy Army beat Jan Farn of Wyke Skylarks and John Sheppard of Wyke Social Club.
