WEYMOUTH have unveiled the signing of Brett Williams from Sutton United ahead of the 2019/2020 National League South season.

The striker, 31, joins the Bob Lucas Stadium, where he first played 10 years ago for Eastleigh, marking the transition from full-time to part-time for the forward.

Torquay had initially loaned the forward to Sutton after scoring four goals in 23 games. He then notched just once in four matches for the Amber and Chocolates.

Williams knows Weymouth boss Mark Molesley from their days playing together for Aldershot, where they became firm friends.

Forward Williams becomes a much-needed presence up front for the Terras, who have seen the departures of Harry Baker and Brandon Goodship during the close season.

Williams follows Ollie Harfield in through the door as new signings at the Bob Lucas Stadium.
