DORSET have seen their MCCA Unicorns Championships Western Division clash with Shropshire washed out due to rain.
With just 13 wickets to fall across the first two days at Shrewsbury, the fixture was likely heading for a draw, but the result is now confirmed with Dorset collecting nine points and the hosts 11.
On day two Hampshire wicketkeeper Lewis McManus scored a superb 93 to haul Dorset within 26 runs of Shropshire's 344-6 declared by the close of play.
Dorset's next three-day contest begins on Sunday, July 7 at Chapel Gate against Cheshire (11am).
