BRIXHAM, Dartmouth, Plymouth, Falmouth, Newlyn, Alderney, Guernsey, Paimpol, Tregieur and Treburden have all had visits from members of the Weymouth & Portland Cruising Association in the last couple of weeks.

Organised by John Atkinson in Eleanor, five boats met up in Dartmouth and enjoyed an evening meal together before going their separate ways, agreeing another meet up in Brixham on their way home.

Paul and Margaret Roberts in Stella sailed on to Newlyn stopping off in Falmouth where Alan Twelftree in Catherine of Wight was singing in the Sea Shanty Festival.

Jacqui and Patrick Crawley in Minnehaha and John and Jane Atkinson in Eleanor are continuing further west.

John and Jane stopped off in Plymouth where their dog Rolo had an unplanned dip in the sea having fallen in while trying to jump off the boat.

Meanwhile, in Brittany Tess and Chris Reid in Monterey visited Treburden which is twinned with Newton Ferrers and while they were there 37 boats were taking part in a race and rally which made for a great party atmosphere.
