WEYMOUTH have unveiled the capture of promising forward Jack Hoey after an impressive spell in pre-season for the Terras.
Hoey is a highly rated attacking player and scored in the Terras' pre-season friendlies against Portland United and Wimborne Town, the former goal a superb curling effort into the far corner after cutting in from the left.
Hoey also impressed in the entertaining 2-2 draw against Sky Bet League One side Southend United and most recently played in the USA at Gardner Webb University in North Carolina.
The youngster additionally played National Premier Soccer League (USA) for Greenville FC.
Before leaving for America, he turned out for AFC Totton, as well as spending a brief period of time with AFC Bournemouth at youth level.
Hoey is the third Weymouth signing of the day after the Terras wrapped up the signatures of goalkeepers Calum Ward and Tom Rees.
