WEYMOUTH boss Mark Molesley says the crowd can see his side are working hard for the shirt, after his side lost 4-3 to Wealdstone in a thrilling clash in the Vanarama National League South on Monday.

The home crowd became notably much louder when the Terras were 3-1 down, and it created a sense of inevitability that an equaliser would come when Abdulai Baggie narrowed the score to 3-2.

Despite the late winner for Wealdstone, Molesley told Echosport: “I think they could see there is a team here playing some great attacking football, really working hard for the shirt and proud to wear the shirt.

“We came up just a little bit short against a very good Wealdstone side with some good players.

“I think it has been a positive start to life in the National League South but we cannot rest on our laurels, we have got to continue to improve because otherwise this league will leave you behind and as I said we cannot get too down. We have got to keep believing in ourselves.”
