BALTI Sports’ boss Marco Nott is buoyed by his club’s unbeaten start to the Dorset Premier League season.

Nott’s men tackle a trip to Sherborne Town Reserves today (3pm) seeking to extend their run of six games without loss.

Sports currently sit fourth in the table with 12 points, six points behind current leaders Hamworthy Recreation.

Nott told Echosport: “It’s a tough period playing a lot of derbies and Saturday games.

“To be unbeaten, and be slightly disappointed that we haven’t turned a couple of draws into wins, is a good thing going forward.

“We seem a lot more defensively sound as a team rather than just a defence.

“It’ll be a tough game down at Sherborne – it always is when we go down there. Hopefully we can get three points.

“They’re normally around the bottom half of the table but we always go there and it’s either a goal in it, or a draw. It’s a tough battle.

“They keep going to the end and we tend to up our game when we go there. It’s one of the tough away games of the season.”

Midfield ace Charlie Kenderdine and full-back Liam Taylor could return but strikers Sanchez Baker and Ricky Lane, midfielder Ethan Devaney plus Jack Drummond and Josh Burton will miss out.
