BRIDPORT boss Rich Robson believes the Bees’ testing trip to unbeaten Bradford Town in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division tonight (7.30pm) is a chance to show progress.

The Bobcats are the only team in the league with a perfect record this season and Robson expects a challenging encounter for his 17th-placed side.

He said: “Bradford’s going to be a very difficult game, they’ve had a very good start.

“It’s an opportunity to show a step in the right direction. Forget the results, it’s a chance to see the right attitude come in throughout the squad – not just the one or two key players.

“I want everyone to take a bit more responsibility, so it’s a good chance to see that, see what they produce and hopefully come away with something.

“We want to go into September trying to build league form”

Bridport could welcome back central midfielder Nathan Warren for the clash, but Will Gape (hip) and Joe Charles are doubtful.
