CENTRE-BACK Stephane Zubar insisted the Terras are targeting a deep run in the FA Cup after progressing to the third qualifying round with a 3-0 win over Sholing.
Goals from Andy Robinson, Ben Thomson and a late Brett Williams strike were enough to sink the Boatmen and secure a home tie against old rivals St Albans City on Saturday, October 5.
For Zubar, the clean sheet was an important factor in the victory with the Terras now having shut their opponents out three times in four games.
Speaking to the club’s Josh Barton, Zubar said: “I’m very pleased with the result, 3-0 and a clean sheet so we couldn’t ask for a better result, we are very happy.
“It was job done, it was a tough pitch to play on and it was a bit hot and windy, so it wasn’t the best conditions to play in.
“We want to go as far as we can, we’re ready for it; we have a big squad who all want to play. We just have to think about the next game now and we’ll see what can happen.”
Third qualifying round winners will receive £11,250 with the losers pocketing £3,750.
