CAMERON Murray is “itching” for more game time after scoring during Weymouth’s 3-0 win over Concord Rangers, according to Terras’ boss Mark Molesley.

Murray has largely been used as a substitute during Weymouth’s first Vanarama National League South campaign for nine years, making 11 appearances with just three starts.

The former Dorchester Town and Scarborough winger has proved a popular addition to the Weymouth squad since moving from the Magpies in January.

Terras’ fans have picked up on Murray’s work rate and Molesley praised the Yorkshireman for his significant contribution off the bench.

He told Echosport: “He’s itching to play and when he does he always gives us something to think about.

“His impact off the bench has been fantastic when he’s come on. He has started games this year as well.

“The squad’s really competitive and it shows I’ve got a lot of good options – we’re going to need each and every single one of them.

“It proved that on Saturday. Sometimes it’s horses for courses and we needed Cam’s energy and creativity. He duly delivered.”
