WEYMOUTH boss Mark Molesley is wary of “wounded animal” Dulwich Hamlet ahead of a trip to Champion Hill in the MANarama National League South tomorrow (3pm).

The Terras storm into the clash on a white-hot sequence of seven games unbeaten in all competitions, having taken five consecutive victories.

Weymouth also possess the most miserly defensive record in the division, with just 12 goals conceded helping elevate Molesley’s men to fourth.

However, Dulwich are winless in their past six league games – leaving the Terras’ manager cautious ahead of the visit to south London.

Molesley told Echosport: “Without a doubt, we’re looking to cease any advantage we can.

“What I will say is that yes, they’ve had some indifferent results but they started well, they’ve shown what a good side they are.

“It shows what a tough league this is that one or two results can quickly turn into a few.

“We’ve got to be on our guard, we know they’re going to be a wounded animal at the moment and they probably haven’t had the results they would like of late.

“We’ve watched them, we know what they’re about with some great ability and potentially better than their results have shown lately.”

Weymouth’s undefeated streak has given Molesley great cause for optimism going into the game.

“We’re in confident mood,” he said. “We should go into every game looking forward to it and we know what tough opposition Dulwich will be – as all the games are.

“We’re trying to show it’s no flash in the pan. It’s definitely not going to get any easier because I’m sure teams will be showing us a bit more attention.

“The challenge is there and we’ve got to keep growing and rising to those challenges.”

Goalkeeper Mark Childs has returned from his loan spell at Hayes & Yeading but has picked up a back injury and requires further assessment.

Callum Buckley is set to play his final loan game for Hayes & Yeading at Taunton tomorrow, but Sam Sherring (ankle) remains out.
