NEW Body Fitness will have a chance to lift two trophies after powering to two shortlists.

New Body’s Weymouth and Bridport clubs have both been shortlisted to the final six facilities in their categories at the National Fitness Awards.

The National Fitness Awards will be held in Leicester on Friday, November 29, and celebrates the best facilities and fitness offerings in the UK through 2019.

Now in their tenth year, the awards recognise achievement and excellence in all corners of the fitness industry and are organised by Script Events in partnership with WorkOut magazine.

New Body Fitness Weymouth, established in 2014, has been shortlisted to the top six ‘Strength Training Gyms in The UK’.

New Body Fitness Bridport, established in 2017, has been shortlisted to the top six facilities for the ‘Customer Service Award’.

National Fitness Awards’ event director Judith Halkerston said: “The National Fitness Awards are celebrating their tenth birthday this year and with more entries than ever before, our finalists really have reason to celebrate too as it’s a huge achievement to have made the shortlist and is testament to the teams behind each.”

Nick Bell, owner at New Body said: “As a small family-run business it is an overwhelming honour to be considered amongst the premier facilities in the country and it validates the amazing team and members at our clubs.

“We have a passion for creating results driven facilities with our community at the core of our values.”

Both clubs have had to go through a number of rounds to be shortlisted including a site visit from the judges earlier in October.

New Body Fitness will now be attending the awards later on Friday, November 29 in Leicester to discover the outcome.

The outfit would like to thank their team and members, past and present, for their support over the past few years.
