DORCHESTER TOWN 7
HAMWORTHY UNITED 0
DORCHESTER Town plundered seven goals against an outclassed Hamworthy United to reach the Dorset Senior Cup semi-finals at a bitterly cold Clayson Stadium.
Magpies’ boss Callum Brooks, facing his former side, made three changes as Klaidi Lolos, Tom Purrington and Kyle Egan earned starts.
Purrington slotted home in the fifth minute to set Dorchester on their way before Tom Bath prodded home after seeing his point-blank header saved.
Egan smashed home off the bar before half-time and Dorchester turned on the style after the break as Callum Rose lobbed keeper Shane Cooper from halfway.
Bath added a simple second and Purrington struck twice in three minutes late on to seal a deserved hat-trick as the Magpies eased to a much-needed victory.
Magpies: Hutchings, Egan (Brookes 78), Martin (Davis 64), Rose, Wright, Purrington, Clarke, B Lowes, Bath, Blair (Batista 74), Lolos. Subs not used: Toland, Murphy.
