DORCHESTER Sports will search for an antidote to their ailment of home draws during their Dorset Premier League clash with Swanage Town & Herston at the Clayson Stadium tomorrow (2pm).

Sports possess an unbeaten record on their own turf but have taken just two victories from five games – the latest draw coming against Bridport Reserves, who fought back from 3-0 to 3-3.

Speaking to Echosport, boss Ashley James is keen to see one point turn to three against the Swans.

“We’ve got to start turning these draws into wins at home,” he insisted. “We’re playing well enough to do it.

“We’ve just got to do it for longer periods and not drop off in concentration for key moments.

“The performances have been decent at home but we haven’t got the points that we wanted. Although we’re unbeaten, there are still too many draws.”

Commenting on the Swans, James added: “They’re a very good side, a tough team to play against – big, strong, physical.

“We beat them (1-0) in the FA Vase so I’m sure they’ll want to get a little bit of their own back.

“We won’t be underestimating them at all and Paul Best is probably one of the best players in the league. On their day they can beat anyone.”

Sports welcome back Darren Watts and Dan Peart but Jamie West (knee) is ruled out.

Pat Thomas and Ash Smith are unavailable, while Jamie Rawlings and Adam Steele remain injured.
