DORCHESTER Sports’ boss Ashley James is wary of the trip to Chapel Gate to face in-form Bournemouth Sports in the Dorset Premier League tomorrow (2pm).

Bournemouth Sports are unbeaten in eight league games – since late August – racking up 27 goals in the process, including 13 in their past three fixtures.

However, James’ men are unbeaten in five matches since a 7-2 demolition by leaders Hamworthy Rec and could go second with victory and other results falling their way.

Speaking to Echosport, James felt his opponents’ form commands respect.

He said: “I think they got off to a bad start but I watched them down at Swanage – they lost that in the last minute – but since then they’re unbeaten.

“This is going to be a tough game but our away form is good – we’ve won five. It should be an entertaining game with two good teams in decent form.”

He added: “Apart from the hammering we got at Hamworthy Rec we should have got something at Gillingham and Merley Cobham as well.

“We’ve played better away from home, so it gives us confidence going into (tomorrow). We could go second, so it’s a massive opportunity for us and hopefully we can take it.”

Dan Peart and Ash Smith return but Alex Gould, Will Gould and Adam Wash are unavailable. Adam Steele, Jamie Rawlings and Pat Thomas are out.
