A WATERLOGGED pitch has forced the postponement of Weymouth and Bridport's Boxing Day battles.
Weymouth had been set to visit Havant, but the Hawks wasted no time this morning in calling off the fixture, which would have seen third host sixth in the Vanarama National League South.
Weymouth will now have to wait until Saturday for their next encounter, with Oxford City visiting the Bob Lucas Stadium (3pm).
However, Weymouth may get the chance to face the Hawks on New Year's Day as the Hampshire outfit travel to Dorset.
Elsewhere, Bridport's St Mary's Field pitch failed an inspection at 9am, meaning their Toolstation Western League Premier Division contest with Wellington must now be rearranged.
Dorchester's home derby with Poole (12pm) should beat the weather, with the Magpies playing on an artificial surface.
