BALTI Sports and Dorchester Sports will gear up for home matches against Westland Sports and Shaftesbury Town Reserves respectively today (2pm).

Balti will wait on the state of their Weymouth College pitch before kick-off, while Ashley James’ men have no such trouble at the Clayson Stadium with its’ artificial surface.

The two sides are vying for second place in the standings behind unbeaten Hamworthy Rec and could reach that position with a victory, should other results go their way.

Balti possess an excellent home record from eight games and are yet to taste defeat with four wins and four draws.

Dorchester Sports are also unbeaten at home in the league after six games, securing three triumphs and three draws.

The duo are chasing Hamworthy Rec, who have won all 11 of their league fixtures.

Rec travel to second-from-bottom Wareham Rangers tomorrow looking to achieve a perfect dozen of wins.
