WEYMOUTH will induct club legends Phil Stocker, John Waldock, Stewart Yetton and Bryan Lawrence into the Terras’ revered hall of fame.

Last season, the club handed recognition to Bob Lucas, Matthew Bound, John Clarke, Willie Gibson, Martyn Harrison, Tony Hobson, Ian Hutchinson, Aniello Iannone, David Laws, Jason Matthews and Graham Roberts in the inaugural hall of fame evening.

The 2020 intake is scheduled for 6.30pm on Friday, February 28 at Weymouth College.

Stocker earns his place having spent 15 seasons with the Terras, clocking up 614 appearances in which he scored 45 goals.

Initially a striker, Stocker moved to full-back in the late 1950s before joining Bridport for four years from 1970 as player-manager.

Waldock joined Weymouth in the 1995/96 season and gained the captaincy in 2000/01 before becoming coach under Steve Claridge in 2003/04. He was awarded a testimonial against Brighton the following summer.

Yetton is inducted amid a journeyman career encompassing numerous spells at Truro, plus stints at Plymouth, St Mirren, Tiverton and Plymouth Parkway.

Striker Yetton joined Weymouth in 2013 as captain, scoring 65 goals in 131 games.

Lawrence joined the Terras in 1973, twice playing over 100 consecutive games in his 666-match career, scoring six times before his release in 1985.
