DORCHESTER Town legend Nathan Walker has returned to the Magpies, the club has announced.

Walker last season made a comeback under former boss Callum Brooks, helping the Clayson Stadium side stay up in the final 10 games of the campaign.

The no nonsense defender becomes new manager Leigh Robinson's fourth new signing in his tenure after Harry Warwick, Jamie Laird and Harry Gardner penned terms.

In a statement, the Magpies said: "Dorchester Town Football Club are delighted to announce the return of Nathan Walker to the Magpies.

"The experienced central defender, who has made 329 appearances and scored 49 goals for the club since his debut in September 2005, becomes new boss Leigh Robinson's fourth new signing announced over the past 48 hours.

"Nathan last featured for the Magpies on the final day of last season and is available for selection for our home match against Truro City this afternoon (3pm)."
