HAYES & YEADING UNITED 5

Duku 2, 60, Little 29, 45, Jalloh 44

DORCHESTER TOWN 0

DORCHESTER Town crashed to a 5-0 defeat at Hayes & Yeading United as the Magpies went into meltdown in their BetVictor Southern Premier South clash at the SKYex Community Stadium.

Leigh Robinson’s confidence-sapped side had barely played two minutes before Immanuelson Duku’s header beat goalkeeper Shane Murphy.

Winger Toby Little then doubled Hayes’ lead after Ben Rowthorn was ruled to have used excessive force in a tackle, earning a straight red.

Hassan Jalloh added a third and Little grabbed his second via a deflection off debutant Jamie Laird as Hayes scored twice in two minutes at the end of a hideous first half for the visitors.

And Duku completed the rout with his second on the hour as Dorchester remained bolted to the bottom of the table.

Looking to freshen up the Magpies’ defence, boss Robinson made two changes to the side that was beaten 3-2 by Truro last time out as Kyle Egan and Neil Martin made way for Laird and Sean Wright.

Robinson could not have foreseen such a grim start to the game as a free-kick unhinged Dorchester, striker Duku getting up to power his header past Murphy.

Midfielder Luke Winsper, who had picked up a yellow after five minutes, was replaced by Torniainen with the former sustaining an injury, before Rowthorn saw red for a dangerous tackle in the 25th minute.

Dorchester had once more made life difficult for themselves and four minutes later the belief drained out of the Magpies as Little made it 2-0, connecting sweetly with a Jack Williams cross.

Little inflicted the damage for Hayes’ third goal, Laird getting a touch as Murphy was beaten again.

And a gruesome opening half was complete when Jalloh remarkably made it 4-0 in stoppage time to pile on the misery.

Neil Martin came on for Tiago Sa at half-time but Hayes found a fifth 15 minutes later as Duku pounced on another peachy Williams delivery to net his brace.

A poor day worsened as relegation rivals Yate and Walton Casuals drew 1-1, meaning Dorchester lie seven points off safety having gone a 12th straight league game without victory.

Dorchester visit Swindon Supermarine on Tuesday (7.45pm).
