DORCHESTER Town have signed centre-back Charlie Madden on loan from Weston-super-Mare and re-signed Cameron Sangster on non-contract terms.

Madden, who played 90 minutes against the Magpies in the 6-0 hammering at Weston, further strengthens Dorchester’s defence.

The duo join Nathan Walker, Jamie Laird, Harry Gardner, Harry Warwick and Ben Rowthorn in having penned terms with Dorchester since boss Leigh Robinson’s arrival in early January.

After emerging from Exeter City’s youth squads, Madden completed a four-year scholarship in New Hampshire before signing for the Seagulls last summer.

Madden could make his debut against Salisbury tomorrow (3pm), subject to FA clearance.

If so, Madden would become the 40th different player to have played for the Magpies this season.

Midfielder Sangster, who has left Plymouth Argyle, has already made seven appearances for Dorchester this season, failing to score.
