DORCHESTER Town boss Leigh Robinson is looking forward to being able to call upon the services on Tom Blair this weekend, after the midfielder served the final game of his seven-match suspension in the loss to Hendon on Saturday.

That 3-0 defeat meant that the Magpies had lost every game during Blair’s suspension and Robinson said the Magpies “100 per cent” missed the suspended Blair: “He gets the ball in dangerous positions, slips past people and puts the ball in the back of the net.

“He occupies the other team a lot and gives them something to think about. Without Tom Blair at the minute we are having to do too much defending because we have much less attacking threat.

“We can’t wait to get him back, we had hoped to nick a couple of games during his seven-game ban but that obviously hasn’t happened. But he has done a great job of keeping himself fit.”

Blair will be available when Dorchester travel to Merthyr Town on Saturday (3pm).
