PORTLAND United have seen tonight's Sydenhams Wessex League Cup quarter-final at Totton & Eling postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The aftermath of Storm Dennis has taken its toll on the Miller Park pitch, with heavy rain falling since the weekend rendering the surface unplayable.
Match officials inspected the turf at 2.15pm and deemed it unfit for play.
A date for fulfilment of the fixture has yet to be set.
Portland visit Bournemouth Poppies in the Sydenhams Wessex Premier Division on Saturday (3pm), with Totton & Eling travelling to Romsey on Friday (7.45pm).
