RAMPISHAM racer Dan Mackintosh is in danger of losing a coveted seat in the 2020 British F4 Championship after a major sponsor withdrew backing.
Mackintosh had successfully completed tests driving the JHR Ford Eco-Boost F4 at Donington Park and Brands Hatch in challenging wet conditions in which he drove his car at well over 100mph.
But Mackintosh is now in a race against time to raise £35,000 via his crowdfunding page, or to find a replacement major sponsor.
The British F4 Championship begins with a triple-header on Saturday, March 28 at Donington.
