WEYMOUTH club captain Ashley Wells has joined BetVictor Southern Premier South side Salisbury on dual registration terms.
Wells has made 11 appearances for the Terras this season, starting in the 4-2 Dorset Senior Cup final victory over Dorchester last Tuesday.
However, the form of full-backs Calvin Brooks, Ollie Harfield and Brennan Camp has kept Wells out of a regular first-team slot.
Wells, who has over 300 Weymouth appearances to his name, has also had spells at Dorchester and Wimborne this season in a bid to sustain his match fitness.
Terras' manager Mark Molesley has always maintained the popular defender remains in his plans.
Wells links up with ex-Terra Steve Claridge as the Wiltshire outfit bids for a play-off spot, currently occupying seventh place.
