Weymouth Football Club has continued their partnership with local school Chickerell Primary Academy during the coronavirus lockdown period with quizzes and competitions to keep children entertained.

Pupils from different schools across the area have been keeping busy by getting involved and some children have won prizes including mascot packages at the Bob Lucas Stadium. There have been successes in the school quiz and drawing competition in particular.

Chickerell Primary Academy teacher Wendy Simmonds has been delighted with the interaction between the club and the school. She said: “It's fantastic that during these difficult times, Weymouth Football Club have still supported the local community and the children. By devising these quizzes, with such great prizes, they have continued to engage our pupils and keep the support for the club going. Well done to all and thank you. Our pupils have loved taking part.”
