RAMPISHAM racer Daniel Mackintosh is in danger of losing a coveted seat in the 2020 British F4 Championship after a major sponsor withdrew backing.

After testing with JHR and Richardson Racing and being offered a seat by both teams for the 2020 championship, Mackintosh was unfortunately unable to proceed with his entry after his major sponsor suddenly pulled out because of the financial impact of the coronavirus.

Alternative funding is being sought but because of the current lockdown, it has been difficult finding the support he needs.

This has been a bitter blow to Mackintosh who has worked extremely hard in pre-season testing to prove he has the ability and speed to compete in F4.

Mackintosh is hoping to compete in the re-arranged F4 championship scheduled to start at the end of August but needs support to do so.

He has also been approached to race in the Formula Ford Championship with Oldfield Motorsport, the 2018 championship winners and Formula Ford Festival winners in 2019.

These are highly competitive and prestigious events and a great opportunity for partners to market and promote their businesses to a major audience.
