WEYMOUTH'S season-defining play-offs clash will be live streamed as the Terras take on Dorking Wanderers this weekend.

The National League has confirmed a streaming service will be in place to broadcast all play-off matches from the Vanarama National League North and South.

In partnership with BT Sport and Sportradar, every one of Weymouth's upcoming season-defining games will be shown exclusively live on a brand new platform, available to an audience across the world.

National League chief executive Michael Tattersall said: "“Due to matches being played behind closed doors, confirming a broadcast solution for fans has been an important part of our play-offs preparation. National League Chief Executive Michael Tattersall.

“This pioneering streaming service will create an opportunity for exposure of the competition on a global stage.

“We would like to thank existing partners BT Sport and Sportradar for their support during this process.

“The announcement adds to the already growing excitement that play-off action brings.

“To ensure a safe environment for National League play-off matches to be played in, we urge supporters to not congregate at the grounds”.

This means that Saturday's semi-final clash at the Bob Lucas Stadium will be easily accessible for all Terras fans.

Dorking Wanderers will travel to Weymouth after seeing off Bath City in their play-off eliminator on Sunday. Goals from James McShane and Jason Prior were enough for the away side to get past hosts Bath behind closed doors.

Viewers will be able to access the streaming platform via web, mobile devices and tablets, in addition to connected TVs via Chromecast.

On Saturday, July 25 at 5.30pm, Weymouth face Dorking Wanderers in the semi final.

Should they get through that fixture, the Terras will head to the promotion final on Saturday, August 1. They would be facing the winners of the other semi-final between Havant & Waterlooville and Dartford.
