CAMERON Murray has extended his deal with National League side Weymouth.

Murray, who in 2018 moved down south after a spell in Yorkshire, signed for Weymouth in January 2019 from Ridgeway rivals Dorchester Town.

Murray went on to score three times as the Terras won the Southern League title.

However, the former FC United of Manchester and Scarborough winger only made 22 appearances in 2019/20 as compartment syndrome in his legs required an operation.

Murray joins the likes of Josh McQuoid, Jake McCarthy and Stephane Zubar plus new signings Alefe Santos, Cody Cooke and Myles Anderson in penning deals for the coming campaign.

Elsewhere, the winners of the Terras' claret and blue lottery for August were:

1. Kevin Banks, Birmingham, no.222
2. Colin Huckle, Weymouth, no.90

3. Me & Muff Syndicate, Weymouth, no.33

A donation to Weymouth FC of £180 has brought the total for the new season to £546.
