BRIDPORT will use their Toolstation Western League Premier Division battle with Street to get “back on track”, according to assistant Kevin Leigh.
The Bees were thumped 6-1 at Cribbs in their first league fixture on Saturday after a messy preparation to the game caused by a delay following a crash on the M5.
And Bridport have the demons of last season’s 9-2 thrashing by Street to exorcise at St Mary’s Field tonight (7.45pm).
Leigh said: “Street at home will hopefully get us back on track. They’re a good side and beat us quite convincingly last year.
“We’ll just see how it goes, hopefully get something out of the game and play with a bit more confidence.
“You’d want to see a reaction to prove they’ve got character, so hopefully they’ll turn up and put a session in. (Saturday) it looked like a tired performance.”
Star striker Liam Sayers (hamstring) and centre-half Chris Hastings could be available.
