SUCCESS for Bridport at Exmouth Town tonight (7.30pm) rests largely on player availability, according to assistant boss Kevin Leigh.

Bridport travel to Devon for their Toolstation Western League Premier Division clash looking to banish Saturday’s disappointing 4-1 loss at Odd Down.

Defeat in Somerset came after two straight victories in which Bridport’s squad was near full-strength.

As a result, Leigh believes a good result against high-flying Town is reliant on fielding a strong team.

“It’s just what turns up on the night,” he said.

“Dec Cornish has a very tight calf, Kris Hastings kicked somebody’s studs and has come up very swollen.

“It’s all dependent on who’s available, who’s not working, that type of thing.

“If you look at the teams we’ve put out since the start of the season, I can’t remember a game that we’ve started the same team.

“That’s difficult for us to manage, but it gives an opportunity for players to come in and do well.”

Lewis Clarke (groin) is a doubt alongside Cornish and Hastings.
