BRIDPORT boss Jamie Manley has described tomorrow’s clash with bottom side Chipping Sodbury Town (3pm) as an “early six-pointer”.

Manley’s men have taken one win from six Toolstation Western League Premier Division games and face a Town side who drew 4-4 on Wednesday, wasting a 4-1 lead over Hallen.

Manley, whose side lost 4-1 at Exmouth on Wednesday, said: “We’ve got to stick together and hopefully we can pick up a win – it’s an early six-pointer.

“I expect they will be disappointed not to get the three points against Hallen.

“We need to knuckle down. If we can cut the mistakes out we’ll be OK. It’s pretty hard at the moment.”

Bridport, placed 19th, are without Will Gape, Aston Butcher (both hamstring) and Nathan Warren (knee).

Strikers Liam Sayers (quad), Kris Hastings (foot) and Lewis Clarke (groin) are doubts.

Dec Cornish failed a fitness test at Exmouth but could return.
